I received some really great news but also could be some kind of sad news. My favorite CFI got a job with a local cargo airlines here at Centennial. He really deserved the spot. He's a great instructor and friend. We are going to try and keep flying together but he's not sure whether his schedule will permit it.

Just as info, he went into the flying club to pick up his check and walked out with the job, talk about the right place at the right time. Just as Doug and everyone else says, networking is the best way to land these jobs.

To answer a previous deleted post, it was Key Lime that hired him.

A CFI at the FBO got let go by Key Lime about a month and a half ago! He had only been there roughly a month. Hope it works out for your guy.
