Vmc demo

Hey guys,

I'm going to be doing some single engine work in a turbo Seneca and was wondering something. When we do a Vmc demo and we throttle up to "takeoff power", do I have the estudiante set up 39" of MP or should we tone it down a bit?

Any thoughts?

Unless the POH has some stipulation that you shouldn't run the engine at takeoff power at that altitude for the amount of time required to do a VMC demo, then yes, it should be done at prop full forward and full throttle IMO.
