Amerijet International, Inc Miami, Florida:<BR />The Sr Crew Scheduler is responsible for crewing all Amerijet flights, under the direction of the Crew Planner / Scheduling Manager, on behalf of the Director of Operations. Ensure personnel adheres to safety, efficiency, and comply with all company and standard operating procedures. Evaluate cancellations, diversions or delays due to safety reasons to ensure crew members remain legal. Coordinate with Load Control, Maintenance Control, and Crew if it is deemed a flight cannot operate safely as originally planned. Train directly or by assignment new hires and current staff when necessary or required to keep a high-performance level. Practice evacuation readiness to guarantee that all personnel leaves when requested/required, with the elements to ensure the continuation of operational control from the evacuation point.<br /><br /><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but not limited to:</strong><br /><ul><li>Create and publish flight schedules, pairing, and crew rosters in accordance with the company procedures</li><li>Coordinate the efforts of the Crew Schedulers with the flight crew, maintenance control, load control, charter sales, ramp leads and crew scheduling</li><li>Overview of shift duties to be sure efficiencies and standards are upheld along with daily report of issues that require adjustments</li><li>Communicate all operational matters to Crew Planner / Scheduling Manager and staff, on a daily basis</li><li>Daily assignment of Amerijet aircraft based on the operation&#8217;s needs and requirements</li><li>Handle and coordinate charter flights for crews and requested documentation for processing.</li><li>Ensure miscellaneous jobs are done in line with daily evaluation and timely completion of all operational functions, paperwork, filing, trip envelopes, flight logs. Geneva Crew Management validation, Weekly Recap and Turnover reports.</li><li>Ensure performance, attendance, quality and quantity of work performed in line with accountability standards.</li><li>Back up the various functions as noted herein making sure the work is done promptly.</li><li>Oversee crew scheduling efficiency.</li><li>Better than average skill in the use of Excel, Word, Lotus Notes, and other operating software. Intimate knowledge of department management software and reports.</li><li>Responsible for prompt &amp; professional telephone responses</li><li>Daily reconciliation of on time flight performance reports, log pages, weekly recap for scheduled and contract service.</li><li>Cross-utilization of staff where possible, but still in-line with established training and procedures</li><li>Post new flight bids for crews within the 28 day bid procedures.</li><li>Maintain the TSA/Master Crew List for APIS transmissions updated</li><li>Maintain CASS crew list updates</li><li>Maintain the database at ipipi.com and flight followers and crew schedulers cellular, with updated crew-phone numbers</li><li>Make sure the Monthly Recap and the blank turn over for crew scheduling are built on a monthly basis</li><li>Additional duties delegated by Crew Planner / Scheduling Manager</li><li>Responsible for weekend on call duty and holiday closing on a rotating week-to-week basis</li><li>Enforce all company policies and procedures</li><li>Assist Load Control in the routing of scheduled service flights and tracking requirements.</li><li>Sr Crew Schedulers will be assigned specific job functions based on their area of expertise delegated by the Crew Planner / Scheduling Manager.</li><li>Other duties may be assigned.</li></ul><strong>PERFORMANCE STANDARDS/MEASUREMENTS</strong><br /><ul><li>Crew flight within FAA regulations and resolve discrepancies within the operation prior to crew departure on relate flights.</li><li>Achieve and or exceed fuel efficiency standard for flights without sacrificing the safety of the aircraft or crew.</li><li>Maximize crew payroll efficiency in scheduling and payroll accuracy standards, wherever possible.</li><li>Receives rating of good or better on performance evaluations</li><li>Maintain a &#8220;good&#8221; or better performance evaluation.</li><li>Maintain proper communication channels with personnel and participating in meetings as required by superiors. Is well prepared for all meetings by documenting agendas, minutes and follows up to ensure worthwhile results</li><li>Maintain satisfactory attendance record within acceptable guidelines as outlined in company employee manual.</li><li>Ensures that all data collection is accurate and submitted on a timely basis to include concise report processing</li><li>Ensures proper training of all personnel according to the training program developed for each position in the department.</li><li>Resolve discrepancies within the operation prior releasing the crew members for flights in line with FAA regulations and ensure that all company policies and Standard Operating Procedures (including governmental, Safety) are enforced and adhered to by all personnel</li></ul>
