I'm pretty sure there are plenty of opportunities for OT, but if you work too much they will fire you.

For real? Why?
I know it is the industry standard for differential between types, but is the jet driving that much harder than turboprop driving? Harder hours?

What does this have to do with flying a jet? Only a very few senior people are flying them, if you go to work at PS in anticipation of flying a jet within 5 years, you will be very disappointed.

That is what I imagined looking at the numbers.

Sorry, bad phrasing on my part. Why if you work too much OT would they be disappointed enough to fire someone?
