Basically, Pan Am is a good place with good instructors and good planes. The best way to go about it is to stay "out" of the gossip and "in" the books! Plan on total immersion if you want to be successful. You need to eat, breath and sh** this stuff or you won't make it. that means spending hours going through flight rehearsal, managing your personal stress and making sure that you communicate, effectively, what you expect of your instructor and of the curriculum.

If you do all of these things, you will finish all of your ratings quickly, and get hired by Pan Am as an instructor. In under a year you will get hired by an Airline. Yes, the past 1.5 years have been a little different because the state of the industry but things are picking up at the regional level and i am telling you, the instructors who took ace are getting scooped up by the airlines.

I have been here long enough to see that it is true. But you really have to ask yourself: "Is this 100 percent?" If not, don't expect success from Pan Am.

Pan am is young and is experiencing some growing pains, but what you do is get your ratings, teach some pilots and get the hell out. Use Pan Am to get what you want.
