Does anyone have any experience using Centerline, Emerald Coast, or Cage Consulting for interview prep? What were your experiences?

Several good threads on this all ready.

None the less, I've used ECIC, and it has been worth every penny. I plan on using one of the others at some point, too.

I used Emerald Coast for my last interview.

    Well worth the cost.

I would say that the prep was a large part of the reason I was able to get hired and be where I am today.

I saw some, but some of it was a bit dated. Just wanted some new experiences from the past few months. Good to hear EC is worth it! I'm going to give it a try.

I was able to view the online files with emerald coast on a special that my former MEC worked out with them, I also attended a short one day seminar in Herndon put on by ALPA and the Cage consulting people. I'd say both were great and you can't go wrong with either.

Thanks guys. I went with Emerald Coast and so far so good. I'm attending a mock interview and seminar in MKE so I am hopeful to learn a lot and apply it.

Just wondering, do you have to be in the location that these companies work out of? I'm in Phoenix and just jotting down some companies for future use next year. I'm wondering if all these companies you listed wouldn't work unless I went to one of their locations?

I used Cage and was successful...but research every company and find what works for your specific circumstances, and which one is recommended for the particular airline you are targeting. Overall, they present the same information and all are very helpful.

Personally, I wanted face-to-face prep as well as availability via FaceTime, and not a cross-country jumpseat trip away. My partner (also successful) did not want to travel, and used Clark consulting, as everything was offered via FaceTime/Skype. While we learned many of the same things, they were presented very differently. I had a friend use emerald coast, and she said that it felt like it was geared toward military personnel transitioning to civilian aviation. And I had two friends use centerline, one successful, and one not (for a given airline).

While mostly the same information is learned from all of these companies, research every company, and talk to them about the services they offer, and see if they are a fit for you. Research their success rate with the airlines you may be targeting (many of these companies have pilots and/or former recruiters from your desired airline working for them.) And be sure they provide the exact services you feel you need, and in the most accessible way for you. And honestly, you get out of it what you put into it.

Good luck! You've probably spent a ton of time and money on building your career so far, interview prep is worth every cent!

I used Cage Consulting for my interview.
They taught me how to clearly explain my experiences in any type of aviation interview. Also provided a host of Human Resource training and support.

This is thread is a bit old, but I have some info and wanted to share. Hope it helps someone.

I'm currently using Centerline. So far, all I've needed assistance with is the resume/CV and App review, but paid for the full service. I'm pleased with the assistance they offered. It's amazing how much "little" stuff needed to be changed in Airline Apps! They have a good eye for it. Fingers crossed and prayers said for an interview...
