I thought it was going to be good until they dumped their production plan for Louisiana. If they have to move it to Canada in order to compete with the Robinson....jeez...

Lame. Looks like the thing I fly around my living room that I bought from the kiosk at the mall.

I just don't get it. They built the facility for 505 production, THEN they decide to ru it down the line (I believe) used for the 206 (or at least the TH67). Now they'll just do components for aircraft, such as the 525, in LFT. I want to say it's projected to be about 25% of the workforce that would have been employed for the 505 production.

Yeah it pretty much sucks! Seems to me the facility was spooled up and ready for metal pieces, then they moved it to Canada. The influence of I.A.M. was a key factor in pulling the plug here and going out of country. We are killing ourselves......!!!!

Reminds me of comparing a Honda Civic hatchback to a Honda Fit. Same car, but despite 20 years of R&D "progress" resulting in the new Fit's rounder, all-plastic body and softer interior, it still performs less well and gets worse MPG. ;)

I might have the facility confused but I'm pretty sure that IAM was on board with the potential workers and made their presence known to Bell. I'll have to research a little on this one......
