FCC radio license was easy to replace.
Got the temporary medical via the airline, but that's only good for 60 days and is only limited to the 48 states.
Sent the form to the feds to replace the medical, but I'm assuming the aeromedical is closed with the shutdown? At least I wasn't able to get a hold of them via the phone.
Thoughts on the medical?
I keep my passport in one of those things in my flight bag.
It didn't used to make sense to keep the pilot stuff there as I would often jump into GA and go fly with just a headset and a tablet, leaving the flight bag in another state. Now, I still JS on occasion with my flight bag staying in base, so I'll have to think about it. Thanks for the input though.
