Aircraft Equations

Hi everyone....I want to do a presentation in my Precalculus class on different types of equations used in all types of careers. I was wondering if anyone could steer me to a place where I could find aircraft operations equations (ex. take-off speed, fuel burn,etc...). I just want to show all the different types of math operations used by professionals everyday. Thanks.

Since calculus is mostly rate-of-change type stuff, why not bang up an equation showing the rate at which the center of gravity moves forward (or aft) as the fuel is burned as a function of time.

There's a book called Physics For Game Developers that has a section on flight simulation.

It was a pretty nice intro to the math behind flight.

There was also a book that I saw at Borders that was called something like Pilot Math that pretty much covered everything from performance to navigation.

The title of the book is Mental Math For Pilots.
