    I hear they're going to bring the Avro's back so crews can get some four engine STOL time. I hear mainline loves that.

    I know you're joking, but man that would be cool to see Avro RJs again.

    Air Wisconsin didn't fly Avro's, they had BAe 146's, did they not...

    I've been told "on occasion" by Mesaba guys that they had avro's.

    It would be funny once UAL/DL retire the 747 that a regional would be flying the only 4 engine aeroplane for the 121 biz.

    They (Air Wisky) had 146's, think of the Avro as a 146NG. I've heard an earful about the Avro from the very few Mesaba guys I've flown with that flew the 5 APU airplane.

    And on the fifth day, thy Lord doth create a flying machine powered by divinity and five APUs. Praise be.

    Sorry to thread drift Air Sconnies. Really happy for you all!

    Ah...the 5 year 50 seat RJ contract.

    Mesa--->ASA--->TSA--->Air Cheesehead

    At least nice seeing it go to what seems like one of the more competent regionals.
