I hope you realize that people with real money avoid flying with you at a high cost based on the fact that someone like you is driving.

The CRJ200 actually had a pretty fantastic roll rate

Not sure where this is going, but my post was sarcastic. I had 4000+ hrs in the CRJ2 and in some ways miss that jet.

If any thing, I think it's too much. The -700 is probably the nicest-flying airliner I've ever flown, with the -900 right behind it.

The -200 seems to be too responsive in roll.

"Buzzsaw 4155, please expedite your climb through FL 240."
"Center, Buzzsaw 4155, this is a CRJ-200. I am expediting, sir."

You would know better than I. I vaguely recall something about the 747 change. However, until just now, I never had any doubt there was still a special for the 757. Since you can rarely see it, my motto with W/T is "assume and avoid". :)
Curious, when and why was the 757 category eliminated/changed? What's its current status?? I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess it's not simply "Don't worry 'bout it, it's just a jet" ;)

Well I guess they did some study and said that it wasn't needed. I don't think there ever was extra wake sep applied to the 757 in Europe. But the 757 is now considered a class D large so the only thing that needs extra spacing is a small (i.e. Citation, PC12, C172) and that's 4 miles. The Recat seperation standards weee adopted here in NY early 2015. A couple places had it (and an earlier, slightly different version) in 2014. I think it's national now but it might not be, so some places may still have to apply the special 757 seperation. That's the FAA for you.

When I was in the Q, I dreaded following a 739. It wouldn't roll us but we almost always got a few uppercuts on the way down.

Sorry I beg to differ. Jerks and babies can do that kind of damage too. Not necessarily at the same time.

Hahaha. I meant during this upset. Luckily crumbs is the worse I've seen. When we went to Kona last week the bosses daughter made sure we had a small vacuum so she could clean up after her toddlers. I'm Spoiled I guess. :)

Probably cause the before pic looks like a promotional advertisement stock pic to make the cabin/windows look larger then they are in reality. Kinda like a cruise ship advertisement pic of how BIG and SPACIOUS your shoebox cabin will be!
