| Senior Member | It happened in MSP a few years ago; I found this FlightSafety article about the incident: No Brakes, No Steering From what I skimmed, the DC-9 had a hydraulic problem, and when the crew shut down an engine there was insufficient pressure for the brakes, steering, and thrust reversers. The captain ended up getting doused in Jet-A and was seriously injured; the FO, an FA, and a few ramp workers received minor injuries as well.
