Default New Lockheed Martin Turbo Super Blimp

That thing is huge. What do ya'll think? Interesting design to say the least. Notice the way it has a take off and landing roll. I like the comment from the website.

Anytime "turbo" and "super" are combined in a name it's gotta be good.

That's nothing. There's a few companies designing hybrid airships (part airplane part rigid airship) that are around 1,000 feet long like the skycat 1000. This Aeroscraft design looks neat: http://www.aeroscraft.com/

What happens when the winds kick up or someone tries to fly one of those near a thunderstorm?

It's a hybrid airship, so it's heavier than air. It would do the same pretty much as an airplane would do under those conditions.
