Default My C-140 + middle of nowhere = fun

I just finished editing a short film I made for a video production class. It looks a little goofy on YouTube because I shot it in high definition and I think something went wrong during all the conversions I put it through, but oh well. Also, the camera work could've been steadier, but I can't complain too much since there was no room to take a tripod with us.

Here I am, having some fun in my Cessna 140:

I've also got the "long" version (8.5 minutes) up on YouTube if any of you are interested in seeing more, similar footage.

Hope you enjoy!

Fantastic video man! I'll have to look at it again when I get home.

I'm in Kenai waiting for mx so we can do a couple fuel runs this afternoon.

Great video

Shooting in HD can be a serious pain in the rear unless you know how to do it. The footage has the look as though it wasnt de-interlaced.

Huh? I thought you were in upgrade class? Or are you in class part time and still on the line part time? How much longer before your sig changes to "Six FO"? I'm so confused...

Yeah, no kidding. I borrowed my friend's HD camera without knowing any better. I thought, "Cool! Flying in HD!" then brought the tape in and found out my college's editing lab isn't even equipped to edit in HD. I had to downsample everything before I could even start cutting it together, thus losing all the benefits of HD, aside from the widescreen aspect ratio I suppose.

Oh well, live and learn. I guess that's the point of going to school.

I'm still on the line as an FE and waiting for flight training. The FE that normally does the fuel flying possibly quit so I was just filling a gap. I'm guessing that I'll be doing training and checkride the end of next week. See its all perfectly clear...
