That has got to be a T6 Texan with a foreign country student pilot. Got to be an Air Force IP.

Fitting how you would find this funny, surreal. Almost every thread you are in, there is some sort of conflict.

Hmm...some of the YouTube comments from 'experienced' T38 guys seemed to say it could go wrong in a hurry with the heater. Hard to say what the real story is, but I have never came unglued on a student like that. Never would unless it was really life threatening and he/she was unresponsive or about to kill us. I dunno, I am not a high stress and yelling type I guess

This has been on JC before, but it's a T-38 out of Columbus with a Japanese foreign student in the front seat. The IP was a guy with the call sign, "SATAN", and no, I'm not kidding. I don't remember what his real name was, and I've never met the guy but I heard that he's out flying with the airlines now. I know quite a few people who knew him, but I never met him nor the student in the video personally.

I don't know when exactly this happened, but it's been at least a couple of years, because they showed this video at T-37 instructor school 2 years ago, and then again at T-6 instructor school. I'm not sure if there was a malfunction in the system or if it was just mis-set. I think it was a malfunction, though.

Anyways, the T-38 (like the T-6) has all of the environmental controls in the front cockpit, and the instructor sits in the back cockpit with no access to any of that stuff. In addition, the two cockpits are separated by plexiglass, so the only communications is over the interphone. Hence the instructors, "outside voice". But he did go a bit too far!
