Curtiss C-46 Commando Takeoff

I shot this snippet last week standing in the driveway of my in-law's house. This is the fuel plane that comes in at least weekly bringing avgas, diesel, unleaded, or heating oil. Enjoy.

Nice! I think that would be a fun ride. If they originated from Anchorage and not Kenai, I think I'd be frequenting that flight!

Everts is on CASS now so it wouldn't be too tough if you wanted to get a ride someplace in the C46 for the fun of it. I can get you schedules a phone number and the like if you're interested.

Thanks!! It's been really good to be here, and I definately freaked out a few folks with that mass email I sent..... Now I just have to work the job situation out. I've got a few leads that I'm working so we'll see. I had a good interview a week ago with where I really wanted to be, but they haven't called back yet. We'll see.........

I'm always down for that. I know a certain newhire AS FO who loves it when you buy him chinese food. We'll have to include him. How many other folks do we have in AK?

I am here till Saturday or Sunday. My checkride is scheduled for Saturday. As far as people in Alaska besides you, Cheechako, and I:

• Flyordie

Those are the only other Anchorage people I know of.
