SF Bay Tour

Here is a video I made taking the SF Bay Tour on a beautiful day in a Cessna-172. The first video shows the entire trip (San Carlos, SF, Monterey, back to San Carlos).

Sheesh, you could have been more friendly and waved! If you look to the right of the north end of the Golden Gate Bridge towards Angel Island you can wave to me. If you have a seaplane you could put it down right in the little cove in front of my house and I'll bring ya out a drink! Non-alcoholic of course.

Nice video, and it's appropo that you put some San Jose home boys music to it.

I watched it again and it was cool to see some familiar sites from some angles that I've not seen them before, like the 28's at SFO. Since I'm always either landing or taking off on them, I've never quite seen them from your angle.

It sure is a beautiful day to be flying around the bay today, although it's a better day to be on a boat...pass the aloe vera, I'm toast!

Pretty cool. Is that SFO or OAK that you're flying over? I need to get up in that area.

That is SFO. Did you notice the United 777 landing and the United 747 taxiing to runway 28R. As long as you stay west of highway 101 and you are out of the way of normal traffic flow, so the SF tower controllers will almost always let you in. It is a beautiful flight and I do it quite often. I highly recommend it.
