I thought it was kinda cool because it featured my home airport for the 747 takeoff shots

Positive rate of climb. Gear up! What's with them keeping the gear down so long after climb out?

Is that the new fad? I see A320 Cactus, and United pilots doing that alot here in PHX!

They do minimum circle touch and go practice with the gear down. 800' AGL and watching that thing turning all the way from rotation to gear down again is the coolest thing to watch.

Here is their practice patterns in our school training outline:
