I got out of aviation for a while and had a corporate job. I was home everynight and made a great income. Thing is though I hated it. I jumped back into aviation and I could not be happier. Sure there are bumps in the road but that is everywhere. You have to take a look at the scale of life. Good and Bad. As soon as bad is heavier than good you need to re-examine things and decide to leave or try and make things better. Seems to be working for me so far. Good luck.

Do I "Love" this job, hmm tough to say, but I do really really like it. Then again, I'm just a rookie, only been flying for 6 years and with a regional for 3. I can say that I'd be in a bad situation if something happened that precluded me from doing this for a living. What's that number for truckmasters again?

I'm still loving every time I strap on the airplane. Part of me is still amazed to even be sitting in the cockpit of a large widebody, let alone climbing into the left seat!
