Chanute, KA Anyone Been There

I have tried to look up info on the town... Could anybody who lives or lived there clue me onto life in Chanute. Primarily interested in how available non aviation jobs (bartending, waiting, anything above 10$/hr) are.

Any info about life in Chanute would be nice, kind of wondering what the culture is like. I'm a city boy here, thinking it might be a shocker

I've been there more than a few times passing through the airport. It is one of the larger "small" towns in Kansas. I would check out: http://www.chanute.org/.
