Any suggestions if you're already Instrument rated with no ME?

Van, I was looking at the website and I'm trying to figure out why the commercial ASEL/AMEL course has 30 hours in the PA30? Can't you get it done with less multi time?

We do the ME as initial on the commercial. We don't have a complex single so we have to meet all the requirements in the Twin. It can be done with a few less hours but we like to have a little buffer just in case.

155 hours you say? So, what kind of total time do you need to start this potential program?

You said already with an instrument rating so I figured about 110-120 hours. You will need 250 before getting the commercial ratings and those are required before the CFI ratings. About 270-280 total when you are finished is where you will likely be.

Hey Van, there's a guy over at the FSA forum slamming White Air's double wide. You should check it out. The thread was starting by a guy looking for flight schools.

I am not really interested in the opinions of people that have no knowledge of what we do here. Our school is not for everyone and people are entitled to their opinions.

We cannot compete with the huge budgets of the larger schools. If you want flashy ads and brochures, the newest avionics and aircraft and nicer accomadations then you should look elsewhere. If you want to get quality training in a relaxed environment, for much lower prices, then we might be an option for you.

Same word as before. The Government does not move very quickly and it will take probably a year to get the VA and Part 141 items worked out.
