if you want to split the time will the school set you up with another pilot? Will the school provide both pilots with the 10 hours? Does that 10 hours count toward the 100? Why no discount for the 100 from the 50?

I am sure that I know the answer to these questions but I thought I should ask for others.

If another pilot is interested in spliting time we will help get you connected with someone.

The 10 hours is included for 1 pilot and the second pilot would become eligible after flying 10 hours with the first pilot. Its an insurance requirement. The hours come off the top of the 100 hours they are not in addition to.

No discount, because $150.00 an hour for a Twin is already very very inexpensive. We cannot justify lower prices with $4.00 a Gal fuel.

I hope this answers your questions.

I got 13.1 gal/hr once in a Twin Comache going from the Dallas area to Roswell, NM. The burn was under 15 on the way back. It is actually a very sleek airplane so is every bit as fast as the Seminole. The climb performance is not quite there of course with the 160hp engines.

And you can go wherever right?

So hypothetically I could drive to Kansas so my gf could visit family, and then fly over to Arlington and make Frog_Flyer get me drunk on Shiner, then once we get sober we could fly to Florida to see Jeff, and then fly back to White Air?

Provided you have the proper qualifications to rent the aircraft yes. Fuel is reimbursed at $3.95 a gallon right now, so keep that in mind when planning fuel stops.

Fuel burn ususally runs in the 15-17gph range when its leaned and power is set properly. Cruise speed is about 165kts at 75%

84 Gal useable fuel gives you about 1000 miles range give or take.

Best rate of climb is 1460 fpm.

Its a solid airplane that will do the job.

Let me know what the dry rate is please. The wet rate is always calculated at the worst possible fuel burn and then some. By renting it dry you could use the best economy 50% cruise which would 1.)save a lot on the fuel cost and 2.) get more time logged for each flight due to the slower speed. Time building is the name of the game after all with these programs.

$100 a hour give or take depending on how many hours you wanted to get.

Ok D-Dog. I am just about ready to get my 60hrs of multi time. I am leaning toward White Air for this. How open is the Multi on the schedule. I would be looking to get 60 hours in less that 10 days so I would want to fly around the clock. at least 30 hours need to be at night but I would do most of it at night if it is the only way to get on the schedule. I would also need a partner with the same motivation since I am too poor (see: flight instructor) to pay for the whole plane. Thanks

Yes we are that booked up, we have 2 JC memebrs here now. More students coming in over the next few weeks. That is also why I have not been posting too much, just too busy.
