weather.com can't forecast a damn thing. www.noaa.gov/wx.html is where it's at. That being said, looks like you guys are screwed either way :-P

i can imagine. this is another (major) reason why i am hesitant to want to CFI anywhere..... my personality does NOT do well with having a questionable cash flow... i get all caught up worrying about bills, etc.... i need a pretty steady pay schedule or i am a stressed out wreck! i dont know how you CFI guys do it, not knowing if you can pay for groceries from one week to the next!

Ditto, it has been. Even having several instrument students doesn't get you anywhere when it's always below freezing.

Well, at least the engine covers are now off.

Engine covers are off? Yay!

Sucks about not being able to fly in the winter since it's below zero, but during spring break I got about .3 actual, and I'm just craving more ever since. Hopefully temperature will go up so I can get more fun time in the clouds in the upcoming weeks. I'm going to have to wait for a day when I can file the same altitude as the clouds for my IFR cross countries.

Yeah, even at 16.50 an hour, 20 hours or less doesn't do a damn bit of good for me. I'm pretty happy if I get at least 25.
