My preference only

West, McVey, and Brannon are all the same except that Brannon is co-ed. Johnstone-Fulton is where are all the honors students stay. Smith is in the same complex and is the only building I've been in over there, but looks pretty nice. Walsh and Bek should be about the same.

Hell yeah...Bek327 for 2 years. The dorm itself is a craphole, but because none of the rooms have those "suites" there's no little hallway that keeps you cut off from the outside world. Leave your door wide open and you'll know pretty much the entire floor within a couple weeks. Most of the friends who I still keep in contact, our first conversation was "hey man, I'm going to get a pizza, want in on it?"

Mcvey 1 (if 1 is top of the list)
West 2
Brannon 3 (1 if you qualify for it 1st year here)

I've lived in West and Brannon.

1(Good) --- 5(Bad)

Brannon 1

West 5

West is a really boring hall... If you want to live with people who do stuff go to Brannon.

West seems to be full of idiots that will never graduate from college also. That was my perception of the place going from mcvey to west.

I'd say the walsh complex is nicer than the wilkerson complex in general. Not going outside to get a meal in the wilkerson complex is very nice though.

Too funny. I love questions about Residence halls. For every 10 people that say one dorm sucks there will always be another 10 that say that it rocks. It's all a matter of opinion, what works for one person does not always work for someone else.

----
But West does seem really boring (at least when I am there). Only dorm I personally know is Noran but that is all women.

North Dakota doesn't take Visa. Watch out! Get checks because otherwise they'll give you all kind of fees. Actually there are fees for using a check and fees for using a credit card and fees for using cash.

Oh, and the housing department finds it necisarry to close the dorms 2 hours after classes are over the friday before spring break. Be ready to spend extra money to stay in the dorms nights you really already have paid for.

....

What a day.

Judging by what I have heard about ND residents and checks, I think this picture applies quite well

I apologize, that was a pretty blanket statement. However, many nights of trying to study and not being able to do so have left a bad impression on me of that dorm. Pretty much everyone on first floor at least(where I lived) was an idiot.
