Default AFROTC

So as many of you know, I'm making a visit up there.

I'm meeting with someone regarding the AFROTC program up there and I was just curious what you guys thought of it.

Thoughts/opinions?

I personally don't have any experience with it, but I have a friend who hated it. Probably not what you wanted to hear, but I think he just didn't like the lifestyle involved or something.

I have a friend that quit this past year, but he still plays on the Screaming Eagles intramural hockey team. I guess after last year, the Air Force downsized and got rid of all the good officers. Apperantly they combined the UND and NDSU AFROTCs and now the commander is inept and down in Fargo.

UND and NDSU AFROTCs have been combined for some time.

Its an excellent program all around. DET 610 is well run and like most things AF - its staffed by professional NCOs and Officers.

What would you like to know about Det 610?

I have a few friends who were in the program. They didn't have a lot of great things to say about it. Their thoughts were that the program was unorganized to say the least.

Have you done UND's ROTC program?

Answered my own question...

What do you want to know? I loved the place and would go back in a second. However, you only need one 4 year degree in life so that won't happen again.
