if you look at a temp map GFK is normally the coldest in this area, which is why i hate this place

True, I did make a lot of awesome friends living in the dorms. But I stayed in there a bit longer than I needed to...hence the bitterness I think :-) Have you made a decision yet?

The only reason I noticed that is because I get the best of both worlds. I'm from Kansas, which is always the second place to get into the red in the summer. The first is northern Arizona, followed by western Kansas. I think last year my "annual temperature range" (just straight temp, not taking into account windchill or heat index) was 152 degrees. Add in those two factors and it was more like 180. | ||

if youre new to college, give it a shot for one semester or maybe all of your first year. get a co-ed dorm (no brainer) otherwise, if youve been to school already or are older than 21, get an apt/house near campus.
