Because of "precautionary engine shut downs on the seminole" right?

I had him for stage 46 and could not get through NDB approaches with the guy. All my fault in some form. The first one I came in on the wrong friggen bearing, the second attempt I decided it would be a good idea to try them in 35 knot winds on the surface and 60 knot winds aloft. The approach was fine, but apparently when I tracked outbound I was way out by that grouping of towers to the north when it came time to turn inbound. I had him again for stage 99 in 325 which went great.

I actually wanted him as an instructor for 414, but couldn't get him. He seemed like a pretty knowledgeable instructor, just maybe a little poor at keeping you relaxed on stage checks. I really wanted an instructor who would be kicking me in the but throughout the course instead of just kinda going along for the ride like a few of my previous instructors.

Yes, that was the one - actually, it was stage 46 now that I remember.

I remember that stage. I had the KING and that was one of the most enjoyable stages I have ever had.

Mr. King's the best. He has so many stories and experience. He always seems happy at the airport, too. Great attitude.

Just the kind of instructor everyone needs.
