I'm thinking of doing lunch in Fargo on a 102 crosscountry... I read a little about the Fargo Jet Center and a "courtesy car". Has anyone here done that to grab a quick bite to eat? Thanks. |

| Old Skool | yep. done it. usually you gotta buy fuel to get use of the car, so plan accordingly.

Fargo Jet Center is a nice FBO. I believe their crew car is a Taurus, nothing like the Jag in STP but it will do. |

Unless they got a new crew-car, I believe they have more than one. The last time I was there we ended up taking a Santa Fe I believe. Hopefully, the people before you leave the windows rolled up! Someone didn’t do that last summer and the car was pretty soaked after a major rain rolled through the area! |

I don't know why people are always gung-hoe about the Jaguar X-Type in STP - it's just a glorified underpowered sloppy Ford Mondeo with Ford interior components and a Jaguar badge slapped on it! (no, seriously, it is, look it up).

| Last time I had their sloppy-handling Grand Caravan (the top-of-the-line model with leather seats, etc). Holy hell was I scared driving that boat when I took a turn that would normally do fine had I been in my car.

| That's what they gave me last time from Signature at MSP. They got em at STP as well? I thought they had a fleet of Jags... Maybe they are downgrading, slightly?

| Yes, remember that? haha. We wanted to go to get sushi, but of course since it was 10pm it was closed ...since everyone in Fargo is in bed with their wife Hilga by then... so we had to go to Olive Garden instead.

| i wouldn't mock Fargo, most everything there stays open much later than in El Forko Grande. This town goes to bed early!

I just got back from a flight to MN, left on Friday got back today. We (a friend and I) had the same flight plan and we were expecting 9kt winds, when we got there it was 010 20 knots gusting to 26. Not too much but the grass runway we needed at the time was closed, had to land on 31. That was definitely fun. ![]() We got to drive a Crown Vic all day. On the way back we stopped in Alexandria. Saturday morning we came out to the airport and the plane was completely frosted over, hangars were full, since Flight Ops closed at noon we had to spend another night. It definitely was fun and we got to cruise around and relax. Yay for hills and trees, it was great being away from GFK.Crew cars are definitely awesome, they just throw over the keys. Unfortunately I missed the memorial on Saturday. |

The fargo FBO is pretty nice. I did a PD flight and took a couple friends down there to go to olive garden. Funny thing, when we got the crew car, the girl behind the desk said it was a silver toocan(yes, like toocan sam the fruit loop bird). She told me it was a silver tuck son. It was a Hyundai tucson(pronounced toosan). ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() We had a pretty good laugh at that.
