| Invitation for wine tasting... Angel remember I wanted to have a wine tasting party (you know, to introduce people's pallets to wine with a subtle hue of tobacco aromas, moderate tannins, with a lingering peppery finish *inside joke people*) but after much thought I figured people would just chug the wine like it's Karkov vodka from the plastic bottle? hahahaha...

we actually have a pretty cool "wine club" at level 10 20$ to join each wednesday get 3 samples of wines with tasting notes (strong boquet of fresh fruits tempered with a full body and sweet essence of plum with a clean finish leaving the palate refreshed!! etc) free of charge. kinda cool if you want to learn a little and sample a lot of diff wines. also having some winemakers and distributors come in and talk about wine each week. fwiw.

How is the wine selection here? I really haven't bought any since the wife is busy making a kid. If it is anything like the beer selection, we're in trouble. I'm pretty sure I'll get beaten to death if I start bringing wine back to the house. As for the keg, I don't know how many of you would want to drive way the hell out past Crookston. I recommend a more local venue until more accommodating arrangements can be made.

Well as far as the beer, we have everything the distributor can get. Theres lots of beers that simply aren't distributed here because its podunk-nowhere. For wine, we've got about 100 (very roughly) different wines in the racks.

| I had a hard time in Grand Forks since I'm a picky wine enthusiast. Culturally, people in ND/MN aren't as into wine as the west or east coast (nothing wrong with that, it's okay to love Pabst Blue Ribbon and not tell the difference between that and Fat Tire Ale ). The south Happy Harry's had the best wine selection (as horrible and overpriced as it was) and has lower prices compared to the north Happy Harry's. The north Happy Harry's has a limited selection, probably due to the market demographic in that immediate area. Sanders has a very good wine selection and is pretty reasonable for a restaurant markup. Toasted Frog also has a great wine list.
