| Is anyone else staying in the dorms? I've got my aviation laptop plugged into the internet through the wall and the 2 computer icon in the bottom right next to the clock says its connected at 100.0 Mbps. But I searched Google for something to test my connection and I am only getting 900 Kbps, which is only .9Mbps. Is anyone else's connection this far off?

| The speed which the icon in the tray displays is the theoretical max speed of the connection which would be a function of the ethernet card AND network interface speed. I believe the internet speed at the dorms is pretty slow, that seems pretty accurate (as I remember from the last time I was there). |

| haha . Nah, I did all that last year. This year I was trying to watch the instant netflix movies and it said I had a basic internet connection. Back home we have cable internet so I got used to the high speed connections for everything. I'm staying in Selke this year.
