$1800? Maybe they raped the Japanese companies sending them here with an inflated rate. That sounds way too high. A 3 bedroom apartment in this area should cost around $900. Wait, scratch that, a 3 bedroom apartment in this area should cost $400 for what you get. But it doesn't.

Wow. Ridiculous.

I paid $1300/mo for a condo in San Diego with washer and dryer, professional Viking stove, lots of recessed lighting, travertine tile, remodeled EVERYTHING, 1-car garage, 2bed/2bath, 5 minutes from the beach! You can find a 3 bedroom BLOCKS from the beach for $1800!!!

Stupid.

but yeah, any info on those campus place apartments?

its not like a real city where you know, if you are interested in an apartment, you go to the apartment, which has a LEASING OFFICE on site, and say hey, show me your apartments.

I went over there today looking for anything relating to a sign with a phone number but to no avail. I asked the MidCo cable guy that was standing outside if he had the phone number for management or if he even knew who they were, no luck. So I went to the girl sunbathing on her first floor porch and she seemed startled that I was approaching her. She then sent me to "Dakota Commercial" located between Club Tan and Jimmy John near the Ralph Engelstad. I got there but their lunch hour was between 12-1 so I decided to grab lunch at Jimmy Johns. When it was finally 1, I walked over and inquired about the new apartments.

2 Bedrooms- $800-850
3 Bedrooms $900-950

The $1800 for 3 bedroom that the Japanese students are paying most likely involve it coming furnished or with a meal plan. Still a rip-off for the price

To be honest, $1800 seems pretty fair to me. If you have three guys per apartment, then that's $600 each for the apartment, cable, internet, telephone, utilities, and food. That might be slightly high, but I wouldn't call it a ripoff - I doubt many of you live on just $600 a month.

Nope, I'll be in a four bedroom condo in about a month at 450 dollars a month.

Just got my summer packet. I have Leslie, Martin for 102 and Dale, Raatz for 103. I guess I have everything except a place to stay.

I had Leslie Martin for 100 which is a joke of a class. I had John Bridewell for 102 and it was an easy class because all you had to do was understand his powerpoints. I think for 103 you will have a teacher who has recently graduated instead of Raatz. I could be wrong though since the summer session might be different.

Leslie Martin is cool. Just had her for 222. Very relaxed and good conversational style. Keeps it engaging.

+2 for Leslie Martin. She's one of the few UND teachers who are very open and willing to work w/ students. Great teacher.
