UND has probably finally thawed so the kiddies are probably walking to bars rather then huddling in the igloos.

Saw a lot of locals with their windows up in their car and their AC probably on today. Guess 68F is hot for Olga Lunde!

If it is cool enough outside to open the windows, then I would rather turn on the a/c. It is just much better temperature control.

Yeah seriously! Central A/C units outside in this apt complex are still blasting at the moment. WHY?!

I prefer to roll down all my windows and open the sunroof so that I can breathe the fresh air, the fresh Simplot/sugarbeet/lagoon air.

YAY SUN! FINALLY!

today i ditched on a group project to instead go rejuvenate with some life-giving energy from the sun and relax

went fishing at the lincoln park boat ramp

really nice day out there.

actually, ill be on StudioOne on thursday giving my opinions about grand forks!! :-)

and no, i dont diss it. i was asked what i thought about the greenway (i said it was great actually), how i heard about fishing out there (local word of mouth), and i was asked if i thought rebuilding homes there after the flood would have been a better idea, which i said would have been foolish and this town DESPERATELY NEEDS fun and recreation for families, which the greenway is perfect for :-)

so there, i said some good things about GF, ND. ON THE RECORD.

tune in thursday at 5pm to see :-D

No kidding. Hell I'll suck it up and drive with the windows down and no AC if it's misserable out. I feel more connected to the car that way.

Actually the only time it really sucks is when I drive my cougar when it's hot out. The headers hang low enough that while you're sitting at a stop light, the heat just pours off of them right up the side of the doors and into your face. That sucks hard core after about 15 seconds. Nothing a nice long burn out won't fix though.

Yeah seriously... I want to be able to hear the tires give way so I can do something about it before hitting a pine tree on a windy twisty road

Don't you mean hitting a Bison on these long, desolate, straight roads

I've got that (bc of resident tuition stuff), and all the gear...so i might go check it out sometime this week! The only place we fished last summer was Larimore dam, and we never came back empty handed. We always got a decent sized bass or northern. Jim King also showed me all the hot spots out at all the ponds next to "puddle" as we were coming back in the decathlon the other day!

You know you took the perfect line at the perfect speed around the corner when hear the tires making that scratching noise. Maybe just barely starting to chirp a little. This is the only reason I like convertables. Everything else about them sucks, but all the extra noise you hear almost makes up for their inadequacies. Yeah, I might be a dork.

Except roadsters (Miata, S2000, etc) built from the ground up with chassis rigidity kept in mind ...vs. a coupe modified to become a less rigid convertible

EDIT: Warm sunny weather --> A/C --> windows rolled down --> hearing the audible road/car interactions with windows rolled down --> car thread
