You would not happen to be the brother of the student who turned his observation flights in? That would make a lot of sense. I believe he told me he worked on the ramp at crystal.

I remember being in the same 102 class and loving it. Re: your observations- from what I remember, he only mentioned it to us on the first day of class and then never again, it was just up to us to remember and turn them in. That said, I slacked a bit and never turned in my last observation! I still aced the class, though, so as long as you're doin alright in all the other stuff, it's not going to kamikaze your grade. That said, though, do the observations, they're invaluable! |

I like that saying... "not going to kamikaze your grade..." haha I would do as many observation flights that you can get on. You're not *paying* to go on them, and the learning experience is amazing.

Like I said, the fact that I have to do observation flights isnt a big deal. Its the fact he called be crazy in the hall when I told him I was surprised because they were not in his course outline and he never mentioned them. Usually I wouldnt have cared if he called me crazy but telling me to shut up before hand, and giving me a whole bunch of other sarcastic responses in class made me uncomfortable. He would ask a question and I would response with the right idea and not the exact words he was looking for. He would be like "Try saying that on a stage check." I am giving him the benefit of the doubt because he has been really awesome prior to this.

Do they really need to close down UND Aerospace early for a Safety meeting?

This is the email sent to flight ops: Tonight is the FAASTeam's (FAA Safety Team's) seminar at 7:00 p.m. in the Chester Fritz Auditorium. The seminar is free and open to the public. About FAAST: FAAST is devoted to decreasing aircraft accidents by promoting cultural change within the aviation community. While there is plenty of data available on aircraft accidents, the FAASTeam is developing a web based "data-mart" specifically designed to give each FAASTeam Program Manager the correct data for their specific geographic area. This will include data for airmen who live in one area of the country, but had an accident in another area. Additional topics will be: Aircraft Icing Concerns and Human Factors in Aircraft Accidents |

Sounds good. Maybe we could get a UND JC group to go. You know, relieve some of the tension and actually get to *meet* some of the people that are posting on the boards. It would be fun. Oh, and Caff... you can drink a gallon of OJ and take some medicine so you'll be good to go.

| You obviously don't put any effort in your flight training at UND! No wonder why you think this wonderful town is boring - you don't find things to do! It's all about what you put into it!
