exactly. and thats why i cant work for UPS again unless i am in a non-union position.

oh and good luck getting on with FedEx at airport. they were wanting you full time for a week of training.... that doesnt really work with my school sched.

When I was in school up there, I had at least two jobs almmost all the time. If I had to do it again, I would get my CDL and drive the schoolbus.

At least they have an kickass amusement park in Grand Forks...

That and I guess they hire you and then take forever to get you started. One of my friends was hired in November and is only just now starting training.

ive heard similar with fedex as well. seems like if somehow you could fit the training period into your schedule, it would be a good deal after that

Well, I'm starting at UND in the fall, so I was a little discouraged about the min wage... I'm from Oregon where it's 7.80. I guess if you guys have found things to do that pay better than 5.15/hr I can too. Guess it will take some time to find that job though. Thanks for your comments, I appreciate it.
