No worries! It’s a good thing that little things like that are clarified, because someone seeing these posts might take it at face value, or wouldn’t take the time to look stuff up on their own. I should have been more careful and actually referenced the exact wording in the regs before posting.

I am more worried about getting that 50 PIC XC time. I likely will leave und with not even 10. Whats the best way to get the other 40? Plan a lot of my training for IFR to be on long cross countries?

That way my costs wont just sky rocket through the roof.

About the warm weather in Arizona. I could either wake up at 5 am which wouldnt be too bad in the summer time if I can get my sleep habit adjusted. Or I could do my summer training in Seattle if its too much of a hardship.

Yeah, that's one thing I wanted to make sure you understood in your other thread. This is one reason why UND is cheaper than a lot, if not most FBOs. IIRC, we only have 170ish hours experiance when we get our intrument/multi/commercial. Compare that to the 200 hour requirement for part 61. I've never really looked to see how many UND hours I have. I had 230 total when I finished 325.

I know that I had fewer than 240 when I finished CFII, and since then it's grown quite a bit

Yeah I bet. My 323 instructor had the same mini jepp log book that I have. He said he had about 240 when he graduated, so he was about on the same paget that I'm on now and he filled that thing up while I had him for 323 a year after he graduated.
