Nice work, off to 222 now, a way more fun course in my opinion.

Just don't blow threw the localizer on your final stage while distracted by relaying an IFR clearance to Mesaba down below like I did

221 is mostly there to build solo XC time and to introduce you to IFR flight so its not as big of a shock when you hit 222. But the big majority is to build solo time for the 141 instrument rating requirements. You will learn lots more in 222, and its alota fun as well. Just get used to the damn hood!!

Congrats, are you taking 222 ground with Tina Anderson? I need 1.8 night hours here which is holding me back right now since UND closes at 4:30PM. Did you take a break or went all out with the sim flights?

Well whenever I do finish I plan on doing 222 with Tina, she is pretty fun if her classes fits your schedule.

65 + gas, which if you are capable of leaning you burn about 7gph and cruise at around 110-115

same vspeeds, etc as a warrior, just less gross weight

So we're talking about $90ish an hour for the cadet. What's the arrow run?

20 more, and the fuel burn isn't that much more either. i did a BFR in it this week and we only burned 9 gallons i think. note with more than 1 person in the cadet it doesn't get the same speeds and will cruise just like a warrior only maybe up to 5kts faster

Or once we get our new Cessna 172, you can join the local ND flying club and fly for $10/dry per hour ...with gas it ends up being around $32. I got a couple of hours in it.

The owner of the current 172 decided he didn't want to be apart of the leasehold arrangement with the flying club operation and took it away from us. We're getting a new airplane (new to us), but that's a whole new story... hopefully they'll get on with it and have it ready by March (getting new interior and radios).
