325/103 oral then two finals tomorrow. Two more finals on Teusday. Last final Wednesday. Then have to fit my 103 flight in at some point on Wednesday or Thursday. Entire family flies in on Thursday morning. Graduation Friday. Stressed is a huge understatement right now.

Bahh. @ Borhos final. The first 50 questions werent very hard. The new stuff = ![]() I came into the final having a 77.5% and I better not lose my C and have to retake it. I wanted to get a B (needed an 85% on the final to do this) but I dont think it happened. :| This semester has been a semester from hell. I think I need to change my approach drastically for next semester. Stuff I was doing in High School is not coming close to working for me. I am not meeting my standards by a long shot. It sucks how you cant just study the weekend before a test and do fine. arghghgh or at least I cant.

Had the AVIT 405 final today. Has to be the worst aviation class I have ever taken. Very disappointed. |

| Prof Marshall is very intelligent, but I learned very little from his class. Seemed like every class we would get the quarter result from the sim, take a quiz straight from the book, and then leave. The class was also very unorganized. He had some medical difficulties toward the end of the semester that he couldn’t help, but I expected a lot more from the class. |

really though, thats a good observation to make. for most people, a "highschool style" learning approach is not sufficient for college. use this semester as a test-run, and adjust next semester accordingly. as long as you "survive" this semester you should be fine. best of luck! see you in the spring

Well I was dissapointed with my performance on the 221 final, a 77 but still got a B in the class. I didn't show up for the last half of Borho's class, pre-clicker days and still managed a B. But I can see meteorology being a dry subject for those not interested.

Finals aren't so bad...but then again, I'm taking super easy courses. The way I see it is, if I'm sitting in the middle of a grade, like 85%, then no need to stress over the test, because no matter how I do on it, I'm still going to earn a B. |

Thanks man. Thats the plan. Going to start outlining the chapters before I get to class instead of when I am studying for the exams. I have a pretty heavy load of GERs next semester so it should be a good change to raise my gpa where it should be. I also need to get more organized and make better use of my time. I am finishing up 102, then I have english, communications, physics 150, math 103, intro to air traffic control, and that 1 credit isys online class I really wanted to take sociology because this teacher is suppose to be pretty easy but I cant make it work.

ok i know i sound like a meat head here but i broker deals with my prof before the semester starts. i say to them that i will never use this in life and that i am taking the class because i have to. i ask them what is that least amount of work i have to do while still getting a b or an a. they usually tell me to do a paper and not miss a class. i only have to take one final this semester and that is because it is a major course and i dont broker deals on those classes. just thought i would throw my experience in here. |

read the material BEFORE the class period, then use the instructor as a means of highlighting the most critical areas to review afterwards, and use them to ask questions you may have about what you read on your own. sounds like youre on the right track!

| Old Skool | well yeah, spread the workload evenly over the whole semester (beginning and middle) and then you dont need to cram, or stress about getting a miracle test score at the end.
