Any CFI here want to nail down 2 night landings with me tonight for UND night currency in the Warrior? I only completed 3 because of the freezing rain encounter last Thursday, so I have 2 more left to go. My flight instructor has something else planned tonight.

I got it done, thanks everyone. Flew the glass Warrior for the first time. Very easy to fly and quite interesting. My landings were crappy - they were very smooth but I kept landing flat... I had a hard time flaring.

| If I did that I would've ballooned! It's because I have been so used to the Arrow where you're 80 kts on final and going to 70 knots then 63 over the numbers in the Warrior is kinda wierd... that's why I was landing a little flat I think.

maybe just go for a no flap landing in the WARR then? i actually kinda prefer them, feels smoother and more positive control, instead of floating along like a kite with full flaps and no speed....

| Old Skool | I'm with you on that one, my no flap landings usually are much better than with flaps...except in the cirrus, that just doesn't seem right at all in that plane.

i don't ever land with more than 2 notches of flaps unless the wind is less than 15kts, if it is more than 20kts i don't use any flaps
