from the program description on UNDs site.

I don't think PHYS 150 requires anything special for the class, ie advance placement, etc.

Did you not have any physics classes in HS??

phys 150 is VERY simple physics.

basic algebra skills, and you're good to go.

Rerrick's calc class was extremely easy, and I'm not saying that because I like math, I'm saying it because the class was indeed meant to have a high pass rate I believe. Partner open book quizzes and multiple choice tests. What more could you ask? I think even if math isn't your strong subject, your chances of doing well in that class were high.

Wow, I must be old. I had Dr. Dewar. Everyone complained but I pulled an A which was only 80%. You had to get a 50% to pass.

First lemme apologize, that question came off a bit high and mighty, and I didn't mean it to.

That's odd, no physics in HS, my HS required two or three classes, but anywhoo.

No that won't be a problem. Like these guys have said, the class is fairly straight forward. Get into a study group and you will be fine.

Its hard to get hired by UND as a instructor and I know some people here can agree with me, but If you did good in your courses and flight courses you will not have it as hard if you dicked around and did poorly. If you go anywhere else it doesnt guarentee a job but if you present your self well and show your abilities to teach then you got a good shot. But being a instructor here at UND is by no means easy.

It's highly political.

I say Physics was super easy, I confess I screwed up the curve in my class cause my absolute grade was high. However I dropped Dewar's class since I could hardly understand what he would say, I took it with Wagner, and yeah he is a very easy going professor.

You do not really need to take any math in hs. because they will test you and place you into what ever math class you need to be in. You only need applied calc to get the BS in commercial aviation.
