Default A little bit of a nice ocean breeze

No wonder why my patio furniture wondered off into the apartment parking lot:

Yeah, nice slight breeze here today, lol. I tied down my deck chairs so they wouldn't fly around.

I think we're still no fly. It was a good day to do a sim. Hope the winds are lighter tomorrow for my students.

I asked people in my class today if they fly kites here when it gets windy and they just laughed at me. Screw 'em I'm gonna go buy one, chill out and fly my damn kite. Hell, it's so windy it might take me up with it...

Good luck finding a decent one. I looked for one once around town, with no luck...

That's getting close to my record of 172kts in the Warrior -- on an insanely windy day last year.

I did my second flight in the right seat today. Yesterday was a piece of cake compared to today. I only actually landed it on my own 2 of the 3 landings we did today and those were not pretty at all. Also was able to do the old fly backwards in slow flight stuff in the good ole warrior.

I fly kites when it gets windy.. SOMETHING to do on those days. I bought one of them fancy quad-line ones a couple years- once you learn how to not get them all tangled, it's pretty fun. I think there's a number of people who mix kites with skateboarding and snowboarding and whatnot out here.

I remeber one time I was coming back in from Redlake Falls in an Arrow, I was level at 2100 inbound to truckstop and had a groundspeed of 185kts.
