Does anybody who is still in Grand Forks know if the new wellness center is open yet? If not, are they still planning on opening it this fall?

I can't wait for it to open... from what the plans show, it'll be really nice.

Is there still going to be a pool there? Someone told me that they took it out of the design...

| Old Skool | I heard its not in the current design but they designed it to be an easy add on...but who knows when.

A 10 story parking garage would be nice - right in front of Gamble hall (where every student at UND seems to flock at 9am).

seriously there are no m**** f***** parking issues. So you have to park at the ralph and walk a few blocks...big freakin deal. Imagine what these complainers would do if they went to a really big campus.

oh trust me i agree, don't forget, i spent a couple of semesters at the University of Texas. parking for 50,000 students + profs + staff.... was quite interesting. (i also paid 400+ dollars for a pass to park PER SEMESTER.)

damn, that's a little expensive. Just makes me laugh when people complain about having to walk "so far" when I live over by altru and dont even have a car. Its really not that bad, even when its really really cold.

One thing we could really use is a Starbuck's on campus or at least a decent coffee shop. The coffee from Tabula is really bad. Even if we had some coffee stand inside Gamble or the aviation buildings...I think it'd be a profitable business.

| I second the vote for some sort of food place in the aviation buildings...

It needs to be like the wings cafe out at the airport as well. I often drive all the way to the airport just to get something to eat since I get tired of the dinning center after about one day of eating there. That and I dont give myself enough time to cook a decent meal in my apartment.

| Yeah if they had some sort of pastry, bagel, or sandwich deal going on where you could also purchase sodas and coffee... I really think someone would make a big profit. God knows there is plenty of space in that lobby.

| Yes, how about "The Odegard Pub"? Good place to go right before flights.

| Its called the vending machine in Odegard Hall. They have fresh food items. Salads, Sandwiches, fruit, and then your standard carbohydrate junk and bottles of pop.

| I'm a little weary getting salad/sandwich/fruit out of a vending machine... Thus, I have never tried anything out of there. I just stick to the standard chips/candybar/soda when I make a visit to the vending machines.

| Quote: I think soda implies sodium, which is salt. Calling all pop coke like they do in the south is just dumb of course. I guess us midwestern "hicks" are too lazy to call it something besides the obivious in that the bubbles pop in your face or something. Although both are derived from the word soda pop. So...I'm gona go strangle myself for knowing that.
