Very good experience (and customer care I would say!). Our Chief Flight Instructor Dick Schultz went very far out of his way to doing a stage check w/ me today. I'm flying out tomorrow, so he realized my situation, and did the stage 33 oral w/ me, and was willing to do the flight if I couldn't find someone else to do it w/ me. Mike Blackmun ended up doing the flight w/ me, and it was great. I learned a lot from this stage since they taught me some stuff besides testing me. Dick Schultz spent time trying to find leads to fly w/ me. I was very happy about that, and he treated me as a student/customer, very professional. Anyway, I'm a CFI now, and you can all rip on me. I'm a certified flying dork. Hey, at least I'm not at the tutoring lab!!! lol |

Congrats! Thats always sweet when you are sitting there frustrated, saying that if they really wanted satisfied students they would do this and than they do it and you question if they actually do give a crap |

Congrats, glad you can make it to NY without having to worry about not finishing up the course. Now you come home to our lovely traffic, subways, bums, good looking people, and the best city on this planet. A little bias there |

Yeah Dick Schultz is the man at helping us out in special situations. He came up on a Saturday, to do my flight for CFII flight while I was on an internship. Also why I was doing my MEI, I was going to miss a ground class period, and he told me to come by and we went over the Reg's one on one, without charging me. I ended up acing his Reg's test because he had done that. I got the highest grade in the class, which is very rare for me. Nice, so you're a CFI now. Thats one hurdle I was glad to be over. Chris
