I've never met anyone that's a flight education major. If you do do commercial aviation, you can still get your MEI. I think the flight education curriculum just has a few more classes related to teaching techniques ore something like that. Similar to what a regular education major would take. Don't quote me 100% on that though, because I honestly don't really know.

I think you'll be good to go with either major. The question is, which would you rather take? Check out the differences here: http://www.und.nodak.edu/dept/regist...depts/avit.htm

yeh id say roughly 250 if you did com av without the MEI. before taking course 325 they want you to have a certain ammount of hours before starting it. 221,222,323 you should have 100 from those three courses. but you only get around 25-40 multi time and not pic. if you do mei you would get 50-60 multi time. im not exactly sure how you would log the CRJ time?

You'd log the CRJ like we do all the other sims.

In order to log the sim time for the CRJ at UND, your instructor would need to be typed in the CRJ, I only know of one guy that is, but that is because I talk to him every now and then, and not the other CRJ sim instructors.

no it wont, Reigonals look for 500-1000 or even more. however UND and OTHER aviation schools have "lowered mins" with eagle, x jet....and other RJ's that is if you graduate form that program and or do a co-op/internship. youll graduat ewith 250 flyign time and or 280 tt with the CRJ time maybe less, and if you fly a lot aroudn your house or do EAA young eagles maybe 300. tt with 30-60 multi (depending if you did CRJ or not)

Do as most pilots do. Instruct. Instruct. Instruct. You have to build up the hours somehow.

most pilots do not fly for a major airline until they are around 28 years old. You cant really get an "airline" job right out of college. Unless of course you are putting luggage in the airliner.
