Hey guys, I know i keep asking these types of questions, but I'm still trying to get a feel for the whole getting established and stuff for going to college and doing it alone. So my question is, which lender did you all choose for the Stafford (subsidized) Loan and how did you all make your decisions? I've looked over a bunch and it seems the only real difference is the fees so I'm tempted to go with whichever one just has 0% fees. Please help, Peace, Bauer

I chose Wells Fargo for my Staffords...not sure why though lol...I forgot. I don't think there's really any significant difference in who you choose

for stafford loans the difference really is minimal. one piece of lore ive heard, unsure how valid it is though, is not to lend from the same bank you do your other banking/checking/savings at. reasoning i was told is that if you ever become behind in payments, or even just late, they may be able to just draft directly from your checking accounts or whatever... again, not sure how valid it is. i went with wellsfargo as well, just to minimize mailings from 982398273 diff banks.
