Default Spring Fest

It's coming up, I guess I might go fly instead

Hopefully the weather is good, and I like the idea of the beer garden by Suite 49, as long as we don't get raped by the prices. Keeping the park cleaner is a definite plus too, I just hope there will be a great set up this time, specially that one of my friends are setting up the sound.

I'm still not sure if I like the "new" springfest. You can't bring your own beer. You have to buy it inside the park at $2/cup (16 oz). We'll see what happens...

$2 for 16oz isn't that bad. If it's domestic beer, I won't be buying it.

I'm sure people will try to bring in their own booze, but there will only be one way to get into the park and that's through a big gate, where they will check IDs and give out different wristbands (one for minors, one for 21+). No bags, coolers, etc. will be allowed inside.

Suite 49 willprov ide the beer. As far as I know they will have 8 different kinds on tap, incl. Bud Light, Miller Lite, Bud, Bud Select, Honey Weiss and Summit.

being herded into a large pen just to drink overpriced beer?? man, sounds like a blast.

id much rather remain in my backyard, grilling some meat, sipping a quality ice cold brew, throwing horseshoes, kicking the soccer ball around with some good buddies and listening to some good tunes around the bonfire pit.

That sounds like much more fun too... instead of watching drunk people get plastered...and plastered even more (North Dakota style).

Actually, everyone should do like a boycott, and not buy anything from those people...**** it, no one should attend Springfest, let the cops eat donuts on their own.

Part of me wants to just check it out...but it just seems like its going to be soo lame! I'd rather bring my own mix of drinks than just beer.
