Whew its a nice feeling, finished my instrument final stage this afternoon (53). Had it with Michael Sanders, pretty cool guy, but I have a feeling you could get unsat pretty easily with him. Did the ILS at KFAR, then went to Hillsboro and did GPS approach there. Then on the way back we did some unusual attitudes, and DME arc. Got vectors for the VOR approach back at GFK circled to 17R and that was it. Pretty straightforward, I was surprised he never gave me an emergency or anything. I had had a couple smaller things wrong, but other than that it was a pretty good flight. On to commercial! |

C'mon people, don't get lazy not typing the full name... Which reminds me...I hate it so much, that when I turn the slip in, I write the whole thing like "Seminole" instead of SEMI or "Arrow" instead of ARRO...my instructors give me **** about how I should just write the four letter code as it's unnecessary to write the whole thing but who the hell gives a damn. It's like woooooow....if you're correcting me on how to write the actual name of the aircraft then you've got some issues... I guess same goes to me for correcting you, but whatever...just ranting (again) (excuse me) | |
