Default Best cell phone for ND?

Hi everyone, my Sprint wireless contract runs out in 8 days...if anyone could fill me in on which provider has the best service around the GFK area. Thanks!

I have Sprint here, very good reception. Verizon is great as well. Avoid T-Mobile and Cingular because I believe with those you have to roam on other cell phone networks in order for the service to work.

Verison is great. Its more expensive than the others unless you're on a share plan.

I think you're correct. I have Cingular, and that's probably the reason why my calls seem to be travelling to the moon and back. Calls take like 7 seconds to connect and start ringing on the other end. Looooong looooooong.

Oh yeah don't get the service that Angel has - whenever you call your number comes up as "0" on caller ID. For the longest time I never answered your calls because of that haha.

T-Mobile is actually pretty good around town/campus...except for inside the Wilkerson tunnels and the lower level of the union. Everywhere else it works fine.

The only time I have ever had it roam is inside Super Target. Even then, it is no big deal because it is free roaming.

i have tmobile as well but i am essentially always roaming (for free)

the downside to this is that i cannot use tmobile data services like picture messages (who cares) or web browsing (sometimes useful)

customer svc / payment with tmobile has always been easy and painless, and i speak to americans on the other end, not indians.

speaking of sprint, did anybody have any issues with their phones yesterday (sunday)? Usualy my coverage in my apartment is just fine, but yesterday i could only get usable coverage if I pretty much leaned out my window. Its back to normal though. Wonder if they had a tower go out or something.
