Another flood, yes. Another flood like 97(whenever that was), no. I think it has to get to 60 feet to bust the dikes right now. Its predicted to peak at 47, so by then you'll only be able to get to east grand forks on gateway. The flood gates everywhere else will be closed.

I think...

I wouldn't try anything in the coulee! The water in it has got to be the nastiest around.

I know, they use the coulee pictures in their marketing/recruitment brochures. If that's all they have for "beauty" on this campus, that's really sad hahahaha

I'm hoping for 20, just barely enough to where it stops just feet before my apartment.

Yeah - even after numerous floods this rural town has endured, people still decide to make it their life long goal to build a family and live in Grand Forks, ND for the rest of their lives. That's my goal!

I'm sure it is...hehe
Funny thing is that I know a professor here that used to live in California all of his life, but he moved to Grand Forks because he was offered a job here teaching, and he's been living in home by the S. Columbia overpass since like 1984. CRaaaaaaaaazy!

Yeah, my Statistics teacher is from Calfornia... yet due to a job offer for teaching she resided here.

I think the smell of Simplot is just what I dream of when looking for a place to live.
