Default Driving

Well it looks like I'll be driving back to San Diego for Spring Break... will be a nice little road trip. Will rent the 152 and fly to Santa Catalina island again...those were fun times. 30 miles over the pacific ocean, single engine airplane

Cool! I was going to go down to Riverside to visit some friends over break, but it's just too expensive. I guess I'll just stay here and work. My buddy is driving back to San Diego (La Mesa), as well.

That'll be a long drive. You should stop in Vegas! I know I would

Haha, yeah that's what I did when I moved from San Diego to here. I told myself I'd only spend $80 on Vegas... let's just say I "donated" a little bit more money to Las Vegas than what was originally my limit

I think on the way back I'll visit the Grand Canyon.

Wow, does that mean driving across ND then? Or are you going to go south first. I guess you'd either have to drive across ND or Nebraska though. I dont know which one would make me seriously contemplate suicide faster.

When I drove up here for the first time I hopped onto the 15 freeway which was about 1 minute from my house then took it all the way up through Idaho (or maybe Montana?) then took I-94 through Montana then through North Dakota. That I-94 is the most boring highway I've ever been on, except the Badlands were pretty cool.

I doubt I'll drive through Nebraska... don't want to see corn for 8 hours straight.

I took the Northern route when I drove here, so I came across ND. Western ND really isn't all that bad... At least there are some rolling hills and the roads aren't completely straight. I actually thought Eastern Montana was worse. It's somewhere between Bismark/Jamestown and East where it turns REALLY flat and boring. I think I would take the drive across ND over Nebraska.
