Default Went to the hockey game

Wow, my first one I ever went to...we don't have hockey back home. Kinda cool...ummm... I guess.

A friend of mine gave me two tickets she didn't want to use - they were on the lower-middle level. Pretty good seats. St Cloud won

I you ask anybody from CA who the Kings or the Ducks are, most likely 85-90% of the people will not know what you are talking about. If you referred to the movie, "The Mighty Ducks" they might have a vague idea that it has something to do with ice hockey. It is the same way with the Sharks in San Jose. They exists, but you NEVER EVER hear anything about them. It is strange. Hockey just isn't very popular in the West.

I've never really been a fan of hockey, but I have to admit it was a lot more fun actually being there in person watching a game. It seems useless on TV. You can't even see where the stupid puck is! Anyway...it seems that I am cursed, because the Sioux always loose when I get near the Engelstad. I guess they aren't doing as well as they have in the past?

LOL that is true. I haven't even heard of the Kings or Ducks. I'm being really serious. In fact, I thought you were referring to the Sacramento Kings (basketball) for a second there, which I am a big fan of.

Hmm, like I don't want a ride in the vintage T-6 airplane?

Actually, I didn't get a ride I had to stay on the ground and watch.

Here's what it should be if I had to caption the picture:
"But I want a ride in the airplane! WAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!!"

I meant Chris Africas!

But dude, I'm jealous of the picture! I used to have one of me sitting in a Navy F/A-18 when I was a kid, but like a dummy I gave it to an girlfriend a couple decades ago.

Wow, I would hunt that chick down!

I have a picture of me and Chuck Yeager that I left at my dad's house - I need to scan it and make that my avatar. I think it was taken in 1986 when I was 5 years old. Beat that picture!

it took you this long to finally go to a game? That's one of the best things about going to school here! I actually work in the arena. The atmosphere was so much better before the athletic department made us crack down on the students for sitting down/being obscene. The place was like a library this weekend compared to what it used to be. None the less, hockey is still by far the best sport on earth.

Haha... yeah and I've lived here since August 2004. I've always had free tickets offered to me but was like.....naaaaaaaaah, I think I'll pass.

Yeah thats the unforunate thing. Prior to the fall of the good ol soviet union Im sure hockey fans were shot on the few ocassions the team did lose. However i do look up to the Manchester United fans on Euro Trip. I think our hockey games need to be like the Uniteds soccer games.

you mean there was another person in there with me? I'm glad we finally got one where I didn't suck horribly. I think the fact that I did pretty much nothing over christmas break kinda showed this half of the season. Hopefully that wasn't our last game.
